How we rank results
Transparency about the criteria that determine the order of profiles on Consulto.
How ranking works
Results on Consulto are ordered transparently by three criteria, in order of priority:

Subscription tier
Elite appears above Pro, which appears above Basic, which appears above free profiles. All other criteria are equal within each tier.

Profile completeness
A profile with a photo, bio, practice areas and contact details appears before an incomplete profile, even within the same tier.
- 3
Update date
More recently edited profiles take priority within the same level of completeness.
A profile's position in results never implies any assessment of the lawyer's professional quality.
